1. August 10, 2026DECISION

   Bye bye shorts.

   I decided I'm going to delete all my shorts or at least unlist them and no longer post YouTube shorts. I feel like it's been throwing off my metrics completely as I want people to start watching the long videos and I'm just not getting the impressions at all. For the next 30 days no shorts and I'm gonna try to do two long-form videos per week. I guess we'll see how it goes.

   Keeping it together

   Trying to keep it all together. I am starting to realize I have too many balls in the air, trying to juggle through the noise.

   Today was a sleep in day... seems to be that way on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The reason? I am scared. I am scared of the next video I want to shoot... but... I will push through, because that's the entire point of this project/experiment.

3. July 30, 2026INNER THOUGHTS

   Defeatist Mindset

   Today I woke up with a defeatist attitude... wondering if the things I'm working towards will actually benefit my family in the long run.

   I was reminded by a little note on my desk, feelings are okay.

   When you have some of these challenging feelings, its important to ground yourself in your values, and your why. Mine? Work hard for the Lord, and build something for my family.

   I know if I keep moving the ball forward it will make a difference.

   Well... can't sleep

   Yes, I have issues. I can't sleep well... up at 1am this morning and really don't think I had sleep before that.

   But... I have been productive! Check out the apps!

   New Business?

   Haven't updated my thoughts here for a little bit... sorry bout that!

   I was thinking about a new business idea... Yes... because I need another one to work towards... but honestly, I have this website for myself and family that I have created some pretty awesome robust apps. I also created a dashboard that it really useful, so I thought "What if I could sell that dashboard code"

   I'm still thinking about it all, but... so far? I probably will move forward on it! It's not going to cost me much more work, and the potential would be to pay for one of my hobbies...

   Decided I needed rest after getting up yesterday at 12:45am... man I have a problem...

   This morning I decided to take a 'break'... sort of. Instead of doing work on businesses, I shot a video for 3amCEO. It's an honest look at ... how I got here.

   AscentAi.ca -- The Business Build

   Built some of the core Ai infrastructure on AscentAi.ca today. I think it's turning out pretty well. The problem I kept running into is vibe coding constraints... running out of credits. I hit my limit within about 10-20 minutes each time because I was coding so much backend. I was able to improve productivity by creating .mds with other LLMs and import into Claude Code.

   One step forward is still forward motion.

    Productive Morning so far...

    Today was a great morning, super productive... but at 4:25am I hit my code limit... sigh... just when we got things rolling.

    Not much to discuss in terms of development. I have a backend Idea Vault built out, and Skeets started, but honestly this was more organizational and planning phase... which I have learned is more important than the coding phase.

    Deployment Success!

    I build my backend CMS to link to my fieldlogs. Now I can update my progress more regularly.
